We are excited to introduce ETHER STATE Issue 001, the debut of our zine-based platform dedicated to exploring and presenting aesthetics in all its forms. This platform serves as a visual diary, reimagining the connection between artist and observer by bringing it into the physical world, creating a deeper and more immersive experience.

Our journey begins with Issue 001, created in collaboration with Bernardo Martins, also known as Figa Link—a Brazilian AI artist based in Berlin. Bernardo's work pushes the boundaries of contemporary digital art and fashion. His innovative use of AI tools blends dark, eerie themes with high fashion and body modification, evoking visceral responses and challenging conventional notions of attractiveness.

Figa Link employs various AI platforms to create hyper-realistic, unsettling visuals that set his art apart in a landscape often dominated by overly polished AI imagery. His work delves into intense themes of body modification, often depicting faces or characters that seem to have emerged from a science lab turned underground rave. This distinctive aesthetic captivates and unsettles viewers, prompting them to confront their preconceived notions of beauty with a sense of fear.
